Nancy Swift
JEDI Executive Director, Interim WBC Director
As a founder of JEDI, Nancy is profoundly committed to developing prosperity for all. She currently manages the JEDI team, develops programs and funding streams, and ensures regulatory compliance. She has built the organization to be responsive to community needs, meet its promises, and perform at a level that gains it the respect of its peers. Ms. Swift helped design the Women’s Business Center at JEDI. Nancy is a former small business owner.

Marian Doub
Director of Knowledge Management
Marian Doub has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur who facilitates the design, build and optimization of high-integrity data systems for monitoring and improving program results and clients outcomes. She’s worked part-time with JEDI since 2009 and is continuously inspired by the extraordinary entrepreneurs—clients, staff, and host organizations—who make economic justice and opportunity a reality in our communities. In addition to her role with the WBC at JEDI, she consults extensively with the practitioners and supporters of community-based small business and asset development organizations nationwide. In her off-hours, she loves to spend time with friends and family in nature and celebrating community through arts and activism.

Robin Fator
Marketing Director
Robin Fator specializes in digital marketing, web design, ecommerce, and social media. In her previous position as a trainer and consultant at the WBC, she brought the It’s Your Etsy Business Craft Entrepreneurship class series to three counties in the North State. She is a small business owner, non-profit co-founder, and self-published author.

Colleen Shelly
Administrative Assistant
Colleen assists the JEDI staff with office-related tasks and provides support on various projects. She enjoys the rich diversity of the entrepreneurs and business owners that come to JEDI and the WBC for professional development. Colleen also provides administrative support to JEDI projects such as Mount Shasta Farmers Market and VITA Free Tax Prep.

Amberle Webster

Amberle Webster is the Intake and Program Specialist for JEDI and the WBC. With more than 10 years experience in supporting Microbusinesses, throughout her career she has worked with many organizations across a wide range of industries, with a background in Business Operations Management and delivering Corporate Training.
When not working with the WBC she can be found doing the above, socializing, or drinking a ludicrous amount of coffee.

Trisha Funk

Trisha Funk has a vision that everyone can comfortably manage their finances based on their goals and feel good about it. She has dedicated much of her professional life to entrepreneurship and financial literacy education. After spending a decade as a registered rep and insurance agent until she turned her business focus to financial consulting and coaching. She has also founded a youth financial literacy nonprofit.

Kate is the Founder of Marketing Understood and helps overwhelmed business owners find the focus, clarity, and direction needed to build strong businesses. She provides step by step implementation and strategy to demystify the secrets to digital marketing and building online businesses.
She does this with courses, private group coaching, books, speeches, business advisory and personal coaching.
With 20+ years of hands-on marketing experience she can assist with funnel building & strategy, website development, email marketing, list building, blogging, membership and group coaching program development, affiliate marketing and general marketing.
She holds certifications in email marketing, marketing automation, SEO, Facebook advertising, media buying, and social media.

Nancy Funk
CPA
Nancy provides tax assistance to business owners in the North State. She has a background in not-for-profit if you need help with year-end preparation for your audit. I also have helped in not-for-profit set up and the 1023 application process. So anything from beginning to end in that arena is one place I have a real interest to be helping you. But I do enjoy the tax work too and love helping you minimize your liability.

Di Strachan
Change Innovator
Di Strachan, adventurer and owner of the award-winning leadership and development firm, Positive Futures. Di provides community economic development services, executive coach and trainer, and is a community change innovator and motivational speaker. She has worked with hundreds of leaders, rural small business owners, non-profit directors and managers, city, state, and national governments along with resource agency leaders to help them thrive in their personal and professional lives. Di was the founding executive director of a rural non-profit that received the “Governor’s Award for Environmental and Economic Leadership in the area of Innovation for the State of California”. Another business project of Di’s recently won the “Visit California Public Relations Poppy Award for Commitment to Community”. She has written and generated over 1,500 travel and news stories for her clients with some story angles winning state and national media awards.

Lisa McCormack

Lisa McCormack has over thirty years as an HR practitioner and leader. She works with small
businesses to make HR "manageable" by providing practical solutions to everyday and complex
people challenges.
Lisa’s strength lies in forging strong relationships with clients. Working for highly successful
organizations such as Intel Corporation and numerous venture-backed start-ups has resulted in
a pragmatic approach to problem solving and conflict resolution, which produces practical
solutions and effective results.
Lisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from San Jose State
University, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and resides on the
Mendocino Coast.

With over 15 years of experience in business planning and development, and a business owner herself, Nina applies her extensive knowledge and action-oriented approach to guide entrepreneurs and business owners through the process of planning, starting, and expanding their business visions. Based in Redding, Nina provides our clients with access to a wide network of funding resources and assists clients with producing business plans and financial projections for loan and grant applications. She also advises clients on government contracting and doing business internationally.

Tola Levinson
Business Development-Startup and Asset Building Specialist
Tola Levison has developed and managed welfare to work programs utilizing self-employment as a welfare to work strategy. Her innovative approaches to outreach and retention of the poorest of the poor have received the recognition of the FIELD /Aspen Institute. The MS Foundation, and CFESS (Californians for Economic Self-Sufficiency) Ms. Levison has served as a resource person for CAMEO (California Association for Microenterprise Opportunity)
Ms. Levison utilizes her own personal experience of having escaped poverty and years of welfare dependency to develop and manage programs for very low income, welfare to work and persons with disabilities.
Tola has recently moved to Shasta County and is looking forward to working with our north state startup businesses to grow and prosper.

Michael Hough is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has over 15 years of experience working with Businesses in Shasta County. Holding a BS in Accountancy, and an MBA, Michael has held various managerial and executive positions in the greater Redding area. Michael has been involved, in an administrative capacity, in all of the various stages of business development cycle, from Startup & Acquisition to Sale & Liquidation. Based in Redding, Michael is ready to assist entrepreneurs and business owners alike with their Bookkeeping & Accounting, Payroll, Cash Flow Management, Tax Planning, and General Startup, or other Business Development Needs.

Jim Wood
Technology and Database Manager
Jim Wood is our Technology and Database Manager. Jim helps JEDI and its clients put technology to work for them. He is also responsible for our extensive reporting systems including VistaShare Outcome Tracker, NeoSerra and EDMIS. He is a musician and a small business owner.
