The Power of Knowledge: Fueling Women Entrepreneurs' Success Journey

Apr 16, 2024

Women face the challenge of managing both business and household responsibilities, from chores to childcare to bills, bills, bills.

The daily grind can kill the desire to learn and grow, because of how exhausted you feel at the end of the day. As we come to the midpoint of Financial Literacy Month, it's important to reflect that the time we spend on self improvement is never a loss, but the opposite.

As an entrepreneur staying comfortable will kill your business, because it will be difficult to grow your resiliency and flexibility to the unexpected hurtles that are to come.

Investing your time in learning might seem like too much at the moment, but knowledge compounds it's worth. You can spend money paying someone to do the job for you or you can spend the money on learning the skill. However, you learn once, and you won't have to do it again, but rather you become that much more informed, decisive, and carry out positive outcomes.

You don't have time to waste, and it's never too late to start. So rather than reflecting on the time ill spent find ways of making it easier for yourself:

  1. Listen to podcasts as you clean, drive, cook, etc.
  2. You don't have to go from 1 to 100 miles an hour, and read a whole book, just start with 10 pages a day
  3. Find a mentor who can guide you and support you.

At JEDI Women's Business Center, we offer free workshops, a learning library, and mentorship to empower your entrepreneurial journey. Join us today for unwavering support through every challenge and success at no cost.
