Mica Thomas-Meneke and his business and life partner, Autumn Dyke, opened the doors to their store and studio, MTM Heavy Metals Fine Jewelry on December 1, 2021. Mica is an artist, goldsmith, gemologist and heavy metal musician. His work is original, and he is also able to craft custom jewelry, unique to his customers’ specifications, as well as jewelry repair. Mica and Autumn pride themselves on offering fine jewelry at every price point, making very special pieces for every budget. They are committed to providing a supreme customer experience and selling pieces that are heirloom quality.

Mica and Autumn reached out to the WBC at JEDI in July 2020 when they were exploring the dream of buying a jewelry business. Consultant, Nina Gibbs, advised them on loan readiness and capital access. Over the course of the next year, Mica and Autumn arrived at renting a space and opening their own retail store in downtown Mount Shasta. They consulted with the WBC at JEDI regarding Startup Costs and Cash Flow Projections and building a business plan. Currently, they are applying for the Mount Shasta CDBG grant. The award is pending.

The WBC at JEDI is honored to provide services toward the success of MTM Heavy Metals Fine Jewelry. The owners, Mica and Autumn, have large hearts and represent the best of the community.

“Having the WBC at JEDI there to help us realize our dream of having our own store has been empowering. The consultants care about us and want us to succeed, and that support is invaluable.”
